Co-President
Carly is a junior at Harvard College and is from Scituate, MA. She is concentrating in Economics with a secondary in Computer Science. Carly is actively involved in various leadership roles and marketing initiatives on and off campus. She is a member of the varsity sailing team and has a strong presence in the marketing field, previously running a $1.3M marketing pipeline for Harvard Student Agencies. Currently, Carly serves as a Realtor at Coldwell Banker, where she facilitates multi-million dollar transactions for buyers and sellers. In this role, she leverages her quantitative skills to conduct in-depth market analysis, tracking interest rates and economic indicators to predict real estate trends. Carly utilizes advanced data analytics to develop predictive models that inform strategic decision-making, optimize pricing strategies, and enhance market positioning within the competitive Greater Boston real estate sector.
Co-President
Jessie is a junior at Harvard College from Toronto, Canada. She is studying Economics with a secondary in Psychology. Passionate about social impact, Jessie is dedicated to empowering young people to make tangible contributions through leadership and service. With a deep interest in education, Jessie has devoted herself to teaching and mentoring, believing that education is a powerful tool for personal and community growth. She has created and led programs that inspire and guide students to develop their own leadership skills, equipping them with the confidence and knowledge to positively impact their communities. Outside of SWAN, Jessie is actively involved in The Harvard Crimson's Business Board as a business associate and serves on one of the Women In Business committees.
Vice President & Conference Chair
Gaby is a sophomore from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She plans to concentrate in Government, on the Law and Justice track, along with a secondary in Economics. Gaby's passion for global issues and diplomacy is evident through diverse experiences, including her work as a Junior Diplomat in the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic before the United Nations in the city of New York. During her time at Harvard, she has directed committees for both high school and college-level international model UN conferences. She is also the academic chair for HOLA, Harvard’s Organization for Latin America. During high school, Gaby co-founded Recicla Más RD, an non profit focused on the responsible waste management and sustainability awareness in low-income communities in the Dominican Republic. Her passion for public service extended to other initiatives, like Arte por su Futuro summer camp, which organized activities that enhanced learning through art for children in marginalized communities.
Treasurer
Lucy is a sophomore from Newton, MA studying Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Neuroscience and Evolutionary Psychology, and a secondary in Economics. She is passionate about understanding human behavior and fostering positive change. Her academic journey, coupled with extensive volunteer and professional experiences, showcases her commitment to social-emotional learning, mentoring, and community engagement.
Secretary
James is a Junior studying Environmental Science and Public Policy. After obtaining his bachelor's degree, he intends to pursue a career in law. James is currently on the the men's varsity water polo team.
